Fast and Efficient Formulation & Dispersion Development | Dispersibility – Shelf-Life – Redispersion

Are you striving for excellence in your formulations? Whether for paints, electronic slurries, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical suspensions, the key to success lies in mastering three pivotal areas: Dispersibility, Shelf-Life, and Resuspension. Discover how not just to meet but exceed industry standards with our cutting-edge TURBISCAN technology.

DISPERSIBILITY: "How good is my dispersion?"

Dispersibility is the ability to "suspend" particles in a continuous phase, allowing them to be equally distributed throughout the whole formula volume while preserving their initial size. This step can be considered the foundation of the formulation.

SHELF-LIFE: "How long will my formulation last?"

Well-dispersed particles, within the required size range, must remain in this state for the time of use of the formulation. Thus, stability is the next parameter to consider when formulating. Indeed, stability is the formula's ability to maintain its dispersion state under conditions of storage and use, with predefined pass criteria and over a given time. Most dispersions, if not all, are thermodynamically unstable. With time, destabilizations are to be expected.

RESUSPENSION: "Are the destabilizations reversible?"

For some applications, inevitable destabilizations are reversible. Paints, injectables, drugs, and dairy drinks are just a few examples of formulations that require shaking before use.
